What will happen if a Super Visa gets refused?

If your Parents or Grandparents Super Visa is refused, 100% of paid premium will be refunded back to you. You must need to submit proof of refusal of Super Visa.

May I receive a partial premium refund if parents could not spend full year in Canada?

Partial refund can be obtained after the effective date of Super Visa Insurance by providing a proof of travel showing the date you departed from Canada. Partial refund will not be provided if a claim has been submitted or is pending.

Can I have a coverage for pre-existing medical condition ?

Yes, depending on the pre-existing medical condition, some insurance companies offer plans that cover pre-existing conditions. Pre-existing condition should be stable for a certain period of time before departure from your home country. Some types of pre-existing conditions will not be covered. It is important to read your entire policy to make sure you are aware of the coverage provided by the insurance policy. Some of the available plans will cover pre-existing medical conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart conditions. It depends on the eligibility questions of the insurance company providing coverage.
